Your Impact
Assists the Beverage Manager, ensuring compliance with quality service and product, public health standards in all bars, lounges, and Host bars.
• Supervises the daily beverage operations in all Guest and Host Bars as assigned by the Beverage Manager.
• Supports the Beverage Manager to generate maximum guest satisfaction, generate upselling opportunities and maintains costs.
•Attends Guests needs by providing a courteous, friendly, quick, and professional service always.
• Manages the daily performance of the bar staff in their assigned workplaces.
• Ensures all bars are fully always stocked to par level.
• Ensures Guests receive premium service/experience in all venues.
•Trains team members and supervises the working operations in the assigned bar area.
• Supports the Beverage Manager in their cost control responsibility through close monitoring of the inventory, spoilage, and recipe adherence.
• Conducts daily self-inspection checks to ensure all bars, bar pantries, machinery and storerooms meet all Public Health guidelines.
• Supervise and monitor the correct application of food safety procedures and food quality requirements related to all processes.
Your Journey So Far
• Previous experience in a similar position in an International Cruise Company, or in a busy 5-star hotel/resort with an international bar list.
• Basic knowledge on food safety.
• Possesses job and product knowledge, including knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine lists and bar setups.
• Possesses full knowledge of Bar menus, garnishes, and presentations
• Is aware of all events and activities on the ship and able to communicate to the guests.
• Ensures compliance with the company alcohol policy.
• Communicates effectively with the senior management.
• Possesses ability to lead and make decisions. Experienced in coaching.
• Must be cost and quality conscious.
• Computer literacy, knowledge of Fidelio/Otalio, POS and Crunchtime is an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Any additional European language is considered an advantage.
Your Essentials
• Passport, visas, certificates as specified by the company and as required for exit from the port of origin and entry into the destination cruising area.
• Food Safety/HACCP or USPH certification.
