Your Purpose

The Multimedia Host is responsible for planning, producing, broadcasting, and publishing a variety of digital messages and media content across multiple display platforms to support entertainment operations. The role encompasses managing Digital Signage and Digital Daily Programme, Photo and Video Content Creation, and TV and IPTV Video Broadcast. Additionally, the technician will conduct photography workshops, manage the Interactive Entertainment Explora Journeys Application, and support technical troubleshooting and general multimedia system maintenance.

Your Impact

Digital Signage and Digital Daily Programme:

• Manage and schedule digital content for various platforms (signage, mobile devices, in-room TV).

• Maintain content library, update and archive as needed.

• Conduct quality assurance of all media assets.

• Troubleshoot and resolve content issues promptly. Photo and Video Content Creation:

• Able to identify needs, conceptualize, and produce engaging graphics using illustrations, logos, layouts, photos, and videos in compliance with brand guidelines.

• Manage publishing workflows for real-time or pre-scheduled content.

• Take photos and videos upon shoreside request to support all internal needs, enhancing the company’s public and internal image. TV and IPTV Video Broadcast: Assist Technical Entertainment and Broadcast Manger in;

• Scheduling and publishing TV / Digital Screen content. General Tasks:

• Conduct a minimum of two photography workshops per sailing, covering novice smartphone to advanced camera equipment and editing.

• Support the Technical Entertainment and Broadcast Manager with technical troubleshooting.

• Manage the Interactive Entertainment Explora Journeys Application

• Maintain databases and logs for multimedia systems.

• Participate in safety and job-related training.

• Assist in departmental events and activities.

Your Journey So Far

• Proficiency in digital media production and editing.

• Experience with digital signage and video broadcast systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

• Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS).

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other editing tools.

• Knowledge of photo / video formats, codecs, and containers.

• Thorough understanding of video editing and production principles, such as color grading and composition.

• Strong audio editing knowledge to remove background noise, adjust sound levels, and ensure proper synchronization of audio with video, balancing music, dialogue, and sound effects, can be advantageous.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure and networking.

• Proficient in English, additional languages advantageous.

• Computer literacy required. Basic Windows based programs knowledge.

• Proficient in English. Additional European languages are advantageous.

• Passport, visas, certificates as specified by the company and as required for exit from the port of origin and entry into the destination cruising area.
