Crew Development Intern

Your Purpose

As a Crew Development Trainee, you will play an important role in supporting MSC Cruises' Crew Development and Strategy team and our global learning and development initiatives. You will contribute to the growth and professional development of our crew members.

Your Impact

• Contribute to the design and coordination of training initiatives for onboard crew members.
• Support the creation of engaging and interactive learning materials.
• Work closely with the Learning and Development team to arrange training sessions and workshops.
• Collect feedback and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
• Assist in maintaining training records and databases.
• Provide support for the Performance Management system.
• Assist with E-learning initiatives.
• Support in vendor creation and invoicing process.
• Contribute to research tasks and other short-term assignments as needed.
• Take responsibility for managing certificates, ensuring accuracy, and ensuring timely distribution.
• Collaborate on project timelines and tracking in partnership with hotel operations.

Your Journey so far

• Experience in creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
• Relevant experience and or working towards a relevant degree is a plus.

Your Essentials

• Excellent IT skills (including MS Office 365).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good teamwork skills.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• A good working knowledge of English is needed.
• 6 month mandatory school agreement. 
• EU passport or right to work in Switzerland.
