Financial Planning and Strategic Investment Senior Manager

Your Purpose

As a Financial Planning & Strategic Investment Senior Manager, you will drive the financial planning and analysis function, supporting strategic investment decisions that align with the company’s long-term goals. This role is critical for developing robust financial models, optimising resource allocation, and providing insights to guide executive decision-making. 

Your Impact

  • Lead the long-term financial planning process.
  • Develop strategic investment analyses and valuations to support high-impact decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial plans with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for potential investments, acquisitions, and key business initiatives.      
  • Build and maintain relationships across departments to support financial planning and analysis activities.

Your Journey so far

  • You hold a Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have 15+ years of experience in financial planning, investment analysis, or a related field. Mix of consulting and industry experience is a plus.
  • You thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments, managing complex financial models and forecasts.
  • You have successfully led or supported strategic investment initiatives, contributing to long-term business growth.
  • You have a track record of effective collaboration with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Your Essentials

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, with advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
  • Proven ability to evaluate investment opportunities, delivering insights that support strategic and financial objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting financial analysis to executives and key stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; any other language is a plus.
  • Leadership skills to manage and guide financial planning initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
  • Experience with financial planning software, ERP systems (such as SAP), and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with finance, strategy, and business unit leaders, aligning financial goals with strategic plans.
  • EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
