Your Purpose

As a 1st F&B Storekeeper, you play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our food and beverage inventory. You oversee the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of provisions, upholding the highest quality and hygiene standards. Your meticulous approach to stock management helps maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing waste while ensuring timely replenishment. Your expertise in coordinating logistics and implementing best practices in food storage guarantees an efficient supply chain, directly contributing to the exceptional dining experiences we offer on board.

Your role is fundamental in supporting the culinary and beverage teams by ensuring they have everything they need to create world-class dining experiences. By maintaining a well-organized and accurately documented inventory, you help control costs and reduce waste, enhancing operational efficiency. Your ability to manage stock rotation, conduct quality control, and adhere to strict sanitation guidelines ensures that all provisions meet the highest industry standards. Through your leadership and expertise, you contribute to the smooth operation of the vessel’s F&B department, ensuring our guests enjoy an outstanding cruise experience. 

Your Journey So Far

Professional Experience: proven experience as a 1st F&B Storekeeper/1st Provision Storekeeper on board a cruise ship. 

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety regulations, stock rotation, and FIFO principles in a large-scale operation. 

Operational Knowledge: Experience in ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing provisions in compliance with company policies and maritime regulations. 

System Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and digital tracking systems to ensure real-time stock monitoring and accurate reporting. 

Leadership & Teamwork: Proven ability to lead a small team, collaborate with multiple departments, and work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. 

Your Essentials

Qualifications: Relevant educational background in logistics, supply chain management, hospitality, or a related field. 

Language Skills: Fluency in English (oral and written) is required. Additional language skills are an advantage. 

Food Safety & Compliance: Strong knowledge of maritime health and safety regulations, HACCP protocols, and international food safety standards. 

Physical Stamina: Ability to handle heavy lifting and long working hours in a physically demanding environment. 

Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and accuracy in inventory tracking and record-keeping.
