Your Purpose

Join our dedicated team as an Ordinary Seaman, where your contribution ensures the smooth sailing and operational excellence of our cruise line. As a key member of our deck crew, you'll help uphold the safety, maintenance, and overall efficiency of our vessel, providing guests with a seamless and memorable journey on the seas. Your role is pivotal in supporting the day-to-day deck operations, promoting a secure environment, and embodying the high standards of hospitality we’re known for. 

Your Impact

As an Ordinary Seaman, you'll play an important role in keeping the ship running smoothly and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of passengers. Your tasks will include maintaining the ship by cleaning, painting, and handling other upkeep duties. You’ll also help with mooring lines, anchoring, and managing gangway operations during arrivals and departures. In addition, you’ll participate in safety drills, care for life-saving and firefighting equipment, and make sure safety rules are followed. Working with a diverse team, you'll help create a positive environment that improves the guest experience, making each journey safer and more enjoyable. 

Your Journey So Far

We are looking for someone who has:  

A demonstrated background in maritime operations. 

Previous experience as an Ordinary Seaman or a similar role aboard a cruise ship or comparable vessel. 

Familiarity with safety and maintenance procedures specific to large passenger vessels. 

Completion of relevant maritime training programs 

Proactive attitude to meet the demands of life at sea. 

Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment. 

Your Essentials

To succeed in this role, you should bring: 

A valid Seaman’s Book and medical certificate (in compliance with international maritime standards). 

A good understanding of ship operations, including maintenance and safety practices. 

A commitment to maintaining high safety and service standards. 

A positive mindset and willingness to adapt to the dynamic nature of life at sea. 

Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
