Your Purpose

As a Ship’s Doctor aboard our cruise line, your mission is to safeguard the health and well-being of our guests and crew. The Ship’s Doctor’s main task is to provide a high quality and professional medical service for guests and crew members onboard the ship, ensuring every guest feels safe and cared for throughout their journey.  

Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of medical care and emergency response on board. 

Your Impact

In this role, you’ll be the center of our onboard medical operations.  

Whether addressing routine health concerns, managing medical emergencies, or collaborating with the onboard team to implement health protocols, your contributions will directly enhance the safety and satisfaction of everyone on board. As a trusted medical professional, you’ll embody our commitment to excellence, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests as they explore the world with us. 

Your Journey So Far

Educational Background: You hold an internationally recognized Medical Doctor degree (in allopathic medicine) with specialization in Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, or Critical Care 

Professional Experience: You have a minimum of three years of postgraduate experience in general and emergency medicine gained ashore, showcasing your ability to handle diverse medical scenarios. 

Licensing: Your current full registration with a license to practice, in good standing, reflects your commitment to professional standards and excellence. 

Language Proficiency: You communicate fluently in English, both oral and written, at a minimum C1/Advanced level, ensuring effective interactions with guests and colleagues. 

Your Essentials

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience: 

Qualifications: Internationally recognized Medical Doctor degree in allopathic medicine. 

Specialization: Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, or Critical Care (mandatory). 

Licensing: Current full registration with a license to practice, in good standing. 

Experience: proven post-graduate experience in general and emergency medicine gained ashore or on board a cruise line  

Language Skills: Fluent English communication skills, oral and written, at a minimum C1/Advanced level. 

Soft Skill : Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a multicultural environment, and adaptability to the unique demands of life at sea.
