Your Purpose

At MSC, our mission is to provide an unforgettable vacation experience for guests of all ages. As a Water Park Cruise Staff member, you are a vital part of this mission. Your purpose is to ensure that guests have a fun, safe, and enjoyable time at our onboard water parks. You will be responsible for overseeing activities in the water park area, ensuring that every guest, from children to adults, enjoys the attractions in a secure and friendly environment. 

Your Impact

As a Water Park Cruise Staff member, your role directly impacts the enjoyment, safety, and well-being of our guests, especially families with children. Your attention to safety protocols and guest service will set the tone for their experience. You will play a key part in ensuring that our water park operates smoothly, efficiently, and most importantly, safely. Your ability to monitor water park activities, enforce rules, and offer assistance as needed ensures that every guest has a positive, stress-free experience, creating lasting memories. 

Your Journey So Far

To succeed in this position, you must bring a proven track record of working in similar roles, preferably in a water park, resort, or cruise line environment. 

Key qualifications include:

1.    Proven experience in water park operations, recreational environments, or working with families and children.
2.    Familiarity with water safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
3.    A background in guest service and ensuring an enjoyable, safe experience for all visitors.
4.    Problem-solving skills to handle dynamic and fast-paced situations with calm and efficiency.
5.    Previous experience in a role that involved ensuring safety standards, particularly for minors, in high-energy environments.
6.    A lifeguard certificate is required.

Your Essentials

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
1.    Fluency in English is required for communication with guests and team members.
2.    Experience in a similar role is essential, particularly in water parks or with activities involving minors.
3.    A strong focus on safety with knowledge of water safety protocols and first-aid procedures.
4.    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests and make them feel at ease.
5.    Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
6.    Physical fitness to manage activities that require active participation, including being on your feet for long periods and performing water-related tasks.
7.    Ability to work well as part of a team, collaborating with other staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
8.    A positive, energetic attitude that helps to create a fun and welcoming environment for all guests, especially families.
