Job Purpose
We are seeking a Global Media Coordinator to help us build best-in-class advertising campaigns in several international markets for our brand.
This role will work closely with our Head of Global Media and the market’s Marketing Directors, to ensure our campaigns deliver innovation excellence, efficiencies at scale, whilst remaining impactful and laser-focused where necessary.
The HQ media hub will be responsible of designing the corporate media strategy and implementing binding guidelines to the market. It will then supervise the process of media plans execution with local markets and local media agencies.
He/she will support the Head of Global Media to develop the best practices within both our media agency relationship and markets approaches, connecting our overall marketing strategy. They will maintain relationships with key media partners, build learning agendas and help the team stay knowledgeable about the evolving media market.
The role involves a high degree of consultation and partnership and requires an appetite to build scaled strategies while also balancing the need to tailor campaigns and learnings towards the local market priorities.
Key Accountabilities
• Support the design of the media strategy and the execution in the local markets, working hand in hand with the Head of Global Media;
• Assess media budget-sizing and goals to develop clear and inspiring briefs, cooperating with the local marketing leaders;
• Evaluate media plans provided by our agencies, fine tuning market leaders and the corporate media hub recommendations;
• Work closely with the corporate delivery team to ensure a creative and outstanding outcome, respecting corporate guidelines;
• Support the opportunities from direct or agency driven deals with main media outlet, to promote efficiencies in the media buying,
• Inspire internal brand team and creative agency through innovative media asset.
• Maintain relationships with key media partners to ensure the best product leveraging, involving cross-functional partners (such as the local marketing office, partner marketing and publicity);
• Share interesting learnings across the countries company marketing teams.
Required Qualifications, Experiences, Skills
• 4+ years’ experience managing and developing strategy for paid media campaigns in a media specialist in house or within a media agency;
• Fluent in English, with the ability to present effectively in English;
• Degree in Marketing, Economics or related field;
• Well versed in all media channels, including the latest updates in fast developing areas such as connected TV and social media;
• Experience with upper funnel campaign strategies, evaluating success and in managing media campaigns of +1M, as well as highly targeted contextually rich planning;
• Strong skill on all Microsoft Office & 365 package and AI app; particularly important are the capabilities of fast design of business presentation on PowerPoint and pdf;
• Highly detail oriented with an ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders;
• A startup/scale up mentality, experience building solutions from scratch and an excitement for the unknown/untested;
• Availability to travel for business trips.
