IT Business Analyst
Job Purpose

The IT Business Analyst gathers and analyzes business requirements and drafts functional designs to support the delivery of large-scale corporate software implementations.
Key Accountabilities
- Understands and maps current and future workflows; documents both current and target-state processes.
- Works with stakeholders to gather requirements and produce clear, detailed documentation.
- Provides consulting services aimed at solving complex business and technology issues across enterprise systems.
- Collaborates with Product Owners and development teams to transform requirements into efficient system solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting medium to large-scale projects;
- 2–3 years of experience in project management;
- Proven expertise in leading teams using Agile methodologies, with strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices (certifications in Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe are a plus).
- Demonstrated experience and subject matter expertise in business/systems analysis within at least one of the following domains: Inventory Management, Flights Management, Booking funnels for eCommerce, Order taking, Service Delivery;
- Excellent understanding of one of the following industries: cruise, transportation, or leisure;
- Solid experience in process and workflow mapping;
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP);
- Solid technical background with and understanding of - or hands-on experience in - software development and web technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- Fluent in English (spoken and written);
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; a strong critical thinker with a solution-oriented mindset;
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate the technical aspects of a solution to both technical and non-technical audiences.
