Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecast proposals
- Monitor partner and market performance, identify trends and constraints, and recommend promotional actions
- Initiate and negotiate Early Booking offers and tactical pricing initiatives in alignment with corporate strategic pricing
- Manage pricing setup and approval processes via JIRA, ensuring accuracy across internal and external booking systems
- Analyze booking behavior, demand trends, and performance data to propose effective price measures and maximize revenue
- Recommend optimal pricing and product positioning across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C channels based on sales performance, market segmentation, and customer needs
- Monitor "Fly & Cruise" product performance and propose pricing adjustments and allotment optimization
- Support the Groups department by contributing to ad-hoc group offers and maintaining accurate pricing within the internal group tool
- Perform regular competitor benchmarking on pricing and product positioning to maintain MSC’s market competitiveness
Requirements
- Experience in pricing, business analysis, revenue management, or commercial strategy — ideally within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors and/or University degree in business administration, economics, tourism, or a related field
- Business fluent in English (oral and written)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated strong sense of ownership, reliability, and resilience, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, combined with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Outstanding communication skills, with proven experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to develop deep product knowledge and establish credibility through trusted relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Negotiation and planning skills, capable of influencing and aligning stakeholders across multiple levels.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of German, Italian, or French
- Familiarity with internal pricing tools or business intelligence platforms
- Previous exposure to B2B/B2C distribution models in travel or transportation
- Awareness/Passion of how AI and automation can be applied to pricing or business analysis
- Familiarity with Python or R for basic data modeling or automation of pricing workflows
